Coleman's Roots are in Racing!
Both Coleman and his partner owned drag-racing cars. In 1986, Alan Kulwicki earned Rookie of the Year honors on the Winston Cup circuit while driving the T-Bird owned by Coleman Taylor. Kulwicki raced on the Super Speedways at Daytona, Talladega, Charlotte, and Atlanta. Although Coleman Taylor hasn’t been active in the racing circuit since 1988, the Coleman Taylor family continues to maintain a strong interest in the sport. Larry Coleman's son, Nick Coleman, our President, owns 3 of the famous Coleman race cars.
